Exploring Cold ConnectionsLet's explore ways to connect metal without soldering or using heat. There are basically seven ways to cold connect metal. In this workshop we will talk about, and try many of these options. First, practice cold connections with copper and brass. Second, create a piece of jewelry using cold connections. Because this is a technique focused class, you may not finish your project in class. Cold connections provide great jewelry making options, and the techniques can be incorporated in projects involving canvas, fabric, enameling, assemblage, etc. COVID 19 protocols will be followed in the Studio. See https://www.firelightdesigns.net/classeseventsshows.html for more information.
