Welcome 2021!
A new year of creativity starting with a new series - small copper dishes showing various interpretations of nests! This nest has layers of fold formed copper, patinas in different colors, a few  bird "eggs" in opalescent colors, tiny glass beads, and a few feathers. Each nest is different with different patterns in the metal, some of which are covered with additional patterns.

Firelight Designs creates original watercolor paintings including use of leaves and fauna from the garden. This gives a work a natural outdoors quality. Using dragonflies, butterflies and other natural creatures adds dramatic flare to the painting.
